Membership of KENCOLD in any of the following categories is open to those institutions, organisations, corporations, companies and individuals who can satisfactorily demonstrate that they are active in the dam industry and subscribe to the mission of KENCOLD.
KENCOLD membership consist of Corporate Members and Individual Members as set out below.
- Dam Owners and Operators
- Institutions defined as those institutions, associations, federations, councils, chambers, government departments, unions and other similar organisations in the water sector; and
- Professional Companies defined as professional companies or firms active in the engineering, environmental, social science, geological, geohydrological and related aspects of the dam and water industry
- Individual professionals older than 18 years of age who are active in the dam industry,
- Individual private dam owners and honorary members, the latter are nominated by members and appointed by the Management Committee.

Regular Individuals of established professional competence, with a professional qualification, who are involved in the field of dams, above thirty years of age, or Seven years of experience or hold a professional qualification, whichever comes earlier

Senior Fully retired persons aged 65 or older who have been KENCOLD members for 10 years
